Out of respect for your right to privacy and the need to ensure the security of your data, we have implemented this Policy. It has been in force since 25 May 2018 and is intended to ensure that our processing of your personal data complies with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter: GDPR), as well as with the legal requirements arising from Articles 173, 174 and 209 of the Polish Telecommunications Act of 16 July 2004 and the Polish Personal Data Protection Act of 10 May 2018.
By using the Website www.grelaconsulting.space (hereinafter: the “Website”), regardless of whether you are registered in our online store, you entrust us with your personal data.
Personal data we process may include, for example, your device’s IP address and data obtained through cookies or similar mechanisms for storing information on users’ devices, insofar as they enable your identification.
This Policy sets out the principles governing the Controller’s processing of personal data and indicates your rights related to that processing. § 1. Definitions
Controller means Beatrycze Grela Consulting Space, 105e Leona Petrażyckiego Street, 30‑399 Kraków, NIP 6412135675, which provides electronic services and stores and accesses information on users’ devices.
Cookies means IT data, in particular small text files, stored on devices through which a user accesses the Website. Cookies usually contain the name of the website from which they originate, the time for which they are stored on the end device and a unique number.
Controller’s Cookies means cookies placed by the Controller in connection with the provision of electronic services through the Website.
Third-Party Cookies means cookies placed by the Controller’s partners through the Website.
Website means the website operated by the Controller under the domain www.grelaconsulting.space
Device means an electronic device through which a user accesses the Website.
User (also referred to as Customer) means an entity to whom electronic services may be provided under terms and conditions, this privacy policy or applicable law, or with whom an agreement for the provision of electronic services may be concluded.
§ 2. Types of Cookies Used
Cookies used by the Controller are safe for the user’s Device. In particular, they cannot introduce viruses, unwanted software or malware onto users’ Devices. Cookies allow us to identify the software used by the user and tailor the Website to each user individually. Cookies usually contain the domain name from which they originate, the time for which they are stored on the Device and an assigned value.
A user may limit or disable cookies’ access to their Device. If this option is used, the Website will remain available except for functions that, by their nature, require cookies.
§ 3. Purposes of Using Cookies
The Controller uses first-party cookies to:
tailor the content of the Website to user preferences and optimise use of the Website. In particular, these files allow us to recognise the basic parameters of a user’s Device and display the website appropriately, according to their individual needs;
conduct analyses, research and audience audits by collecting general and anonymous statistical data and creating anonymous statistics through analytical tools that help us understand how users use the Website, enabling improvements to its structure and content;
provide advertising services by presenting advertising content tailored to user preferences.
The Controller uses third-party cookies to promote the Website through social media services such as Facebook.com (third-party cookie controller: Facebook Ireland, based in Ireland).
§ 4. Data Collection When Downloading Free and Paid E-books
Data when downloading free e-books — the Controller may collect personal data, including an email address and full name, with the user’s consent, to provide a free e-book. This data will be processed only to deliver the free e-book and, with the user’s consent, for marketing purposes such as sending information about news, promotions and educational materials. The legal basis for this processing is the user’s consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Data when purchasing paid e-books — when purchasing paid e-books, personal data such as full name, email address, billing address and payment details will be processed to perform the purchase agreement (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and for accounting and tax purposes (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).
§ 5. Newsletter
The Controller offers the option to subscribe to a newsletter. By providing an email address and giving consent, the user subscribes to the mailing list. This data will be processed solely to send the newsletter, which may include marketing information, news, promotions and educational materials. The legal basis for processing is the user’s consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
The user may withdraw consent to data processing at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in newsletter emails.
§ 6. Data for Tax and Accounting Purposes
When a user purchases paid e-books, the Controller processes personal data to fulfil tax and accounting obligations in accordance with applicable law. This data includes full name, address and other information required to issue an invoice.
The legal basis for processing data for tax purposes is Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.
§ 7. Google Analytics and Facebook Pixel
The Website uses Google Analytics, which collects data about user activity in order to analyse traffic and optimise Website functions. This data may include, among other things, the user’s IP address and device, browser and location data.
Google Analytics collects visitor data such as traffic sources, time spent on the Website and pages viewed. This information is anonymised and used solely to optimise content and improve the functionality of our Website. Google Analytics uses cookies stored on the user’s device. Using our Website means you consent to their use. However, users may independently manage cookie settings in their browser, including blocking them. We also use the Facebook Pixel on our Website, which allows us to monitor user actions after they click our Facebook and Instagram advertisements.
